Charging the Nation

Bowman provides design for new utility services and distribution systems based on the number and ratings of EV charging stations. The utility service capacity is selected to accommodate a full load of all the stations plus spare capacity for future additions. The electrical distribution system typically includes switchboards, panel boards, step-down transformers, and all associated wiring. The design effort also includes coordination with the utility company for the new service and completing any utility load letter requirements.
