Arbor Terrace

Morris Plains, NJ

The Arbor Terrace project provides 82 residential units for assisted living within a new three-story building. The project entails razing the existing on-site buildings for the construction of the new three-story assisted living facility. In addition to the new building, the project also proposes the construction of new internal paved access drives and parking areas throughout the site.

Project amenities include a fenced courtyard with a pergola, a fenced patio area with a fireplace, as well as concrete walking paths extending to a second pergola. The site is heavily landscaped, with the existing attractive plantings and trees along the frontage of Speedwell Avenue being maintained and supplemented with additional plantings throughout the site. The mature trees along The Buckley Way frontage are also maintained. Lighting, conforming to the Borough’s standards, was provided for the parking areas and driveways. The building is serviced by public water and sewer utilities, as well as gas, electric and telephone. The site improvements also include the construction of a new drainage system.
