Bowman was contracted to provide civil and structural engineering services for the first combined solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) development in Colorado. The project involved a multi-phase approach where Bowman delivered 30%, 60%, 90% and issue for construction (IFC) plan sets in accordance with the client’s scope of work and all applicable regulatory requirements.
Our scope also extended to supporting the permitting process for both civil and structural elements in addition to thorough review of the project’s geotechnical report. Bowman’s collaboration and civil and structural engineering expertise enabled the client to deliver a landmark renewable energy development to Colorado’s evolving energy landscape.
