Bowman has worked on multiple Sam’s Club Store and Fueling Station projects throughout the United States, providing engineering, planning, surveying, and environmental due diligence studies. The scope also included underground utilities, erosion & sediment control and drainage plans.

Ranch Road 12

Piedmont

Bowman provided its core surveying, land planning, and engineering services for the development of one of the Mid-Atlantic region’s top-selling planned communities. Bowman’s survey and design teams were responsible for over 50% of the residential development as they prepared preliminary and final plans.

Pohick Stream Valley Trail

Bowman has provided site engineering design, environmental reconnaissance and permitting, and topographic survey for the construction of five, 80 foot long, fair weather stream crossing structures, and 1,300 lf of new trail construction and rehabilitation of existing trail.

Mariner West Pipeline

Project was to install a new 10″ pipeline carrying Ethane from the Houston Plant to a point just south of the Ohio River located at the NOVA Chemicals property. This project was originally designed by two different consultants. Bowman was brought in to provide the civil engineering component.

La Cima Subdivision

La Cima is a 2,031-acre master-planned residential development consists of approximately 2,000 single-family lots, a 200-acre commercial area, an elementary school, an amenity center, many wastewater lift stations, a water storage tank, and multiple detention ponds.

Ken Lawrence Stream Valley Trail

Bowman provided full service engineering, environmental, surveying and construction administration for the restoration of 800 lf of degraded stream valley, installation of 1,000 lf of new trails, and a 30 foot long pedestrian bridge crossing, as well as the first two synthetic turf fields in Tysons Virginia.

George Mason University Faculty and Staff Housing

Bowman provided civil engineering and land surveying services to this multi-phased, design-build housing project that consisted of 422 total units, including 75 apartments, 105-unit townhomes, 164 urban townhomes, 58 duplex units and 20 small lot units.

CR 266

Bowman provided core planning, drainage design, land surveying and environmental services for roadway improvements to an additional 1.9-mile section of CR 266. The team worked closely with local and state officials to ensure planning and ultimate design met growth targets and municipal goals. The team also coordinated with utility companies for the extension and or relocation of service lines.

Cople Elementary School Solar Project

5-acre 2,100 solar panel array located on existing Elementary School property produces 1.2 megawatts a year, offset-ting the facilities carbon footprint by 865 tons of CO2. This project is part of a Power Purchase Agreement with Sun-Tribe Solar which resulted in no investment from the County and estimated to save $3.6 million over the solar array’s lifespan. Bowman provided comprehensive engineering and surveying services.
