The North Metro Corridor Project was an 18-mile, $400 million rapid transit improvement designed to serve the rapidly growing northern portion of the Denver metropolitan area. It was one of several major corridors in RTD’s $4.7 billion voter-approved FasTracks Program, a 12-year effort that significantly increased transit capacity in the region with exclusive fixed guideway rail and bus facilities. Program and projected goals included corridor mobility improvements, regional connectivity enhancements, and support of community and regional land use plans.
