Since our company’s inception in 1995, we’ve expanded our Virginia-based teams in nine offices, including Washington, DC, to support statewide clients with our full range of service offerings. Lee District Park

Franconia, VA
Bowman provided landscape architecture, planning, engineering, surveying and environmental consulting services within the 120-acre Lee District Park which included the multi-phased development of the Family Recreation Area and Our Special Harbor Spray Park, Accessible Tree House, and Chessie’s Trail.

Bedford Solar

Bedford, VA
Our engineering team worked closely with the racking manufacturer and civil engineer to optimize the site for installation and system performance. The layout takes advantage of the slight southern facing slope of the parcel, while varied east to west spacing and backtracking reduces inter-row shading on the rolling terrain.

Capital One Headquarters

McLean, VA
The short circuit analysis, protection device coordination study, and arc flash analysis provides appropriate equipment ratings and settings for all adjustable overcurrent protective devices that are installed in Capital One Office Building. An Arc Flash Study was conducted to calculate the potential arc flash energy at electrical equipment in the system.

Dominion Energy Critical Transmission Substation Security Plan

Bowman provided state-of-the-art 3D laser scanning services for Dominion Energy’s $500 million Critical Transmission Substation Security Plan program.

The Highlands

Arlington, VA
Bowman provided the mechanical and plumbing engineering design for the North Tower of the East Building, a luxury high-rise condominium project. The project consists of a 27-story building with 104 condominium units. The building has an accessible terrace on the roof for resident gatherings

Stafford County On-Call Contract

Stafford County, VA
Bowman performed general surveying services under on-call survey contracts for Stafford County. These services cover property and topographic surveys for design property boundary surveys construction stake-outs and property plats indicating right-of-way and/or easement requirements.

Piedmont

Prince William, VA
Bowman provided its core surveying, land planning, and engineering services for the development of one of the Mid-Atlantic region's top-selling planned communities. Bowman’s survey and design teams were responsible for over 50% of the residential development as they prepared preliminary and final plans.

Bowman provided a detailed topographic and utility as-built survey on approximately 41 acres, in three separate areas of Chambers Field, Hangar 167 at Naval Station Norfolk.

Bowman is providing MEP engineering design for the 31-story, 729,000 sq. ft. class A, corporate headquarters building in Tyson's Corner, Virginia. The building features 68,000 sq. ft. of retail space in addition to a 495,000 sq. ft. office. Parking includes eight levels of above grade and four levels below grade.
