Norfolk Southern Austell IMF Expansion

Bowman provided all surveying services in conjunction with the expansion of Norfolk Southern’s existing Intermodal Facility. The team’s surveying services included establishing control, construction staking/layout of track and facilities, and volumetric surveys.

E. E. Robinson Park

A 67-acres park and nature area contained multiple streams, steep slopes, mature landmark trees and beautiful vistas. The county planned to program the park with a multi-purpose field complex, structured picnic area, nature trail with wayfinding and nature kiosks, multiple pavilions and a large playground complex.

Internap Colocation Facility

Our team performed fire protection engineering and life safety design, as well as construction period services, as part of the design team. Phase I of the data center’s expansion included converting approximately 17,000 sq. ft. of existing office space in downtown Atlanta to a data center with associated support areas. Per the Internap basis of design, the data center was protected by a preaction sprinkler system.

Walmart

Various Locations, MD, FL, SC, GA

To date, Bowman has provided more than $56M in consulting services for over 500 Walmart stores across the country. These projects typically include a new building and parking lot and Bowman is generally responsible for designing all onsite utilities, grading and erosion control, coordination with adjacent land owners, and facilitating city approvals.

Discovery Park

Lawrenceville, GA

Gwinnett County Community Park's master plan program includes a multi-use field complex, playground/splashpad complex, a play courts area with three-on-three soccer/basketball/volleyball, a four-square setup and outdoor ping pong. A 1.5-mile perimeter multi-use trail (for walking and bicycling) encompasses the park and connects all use areas.

Paul Duke STEM High School

The team coordinated and assisted site design, construction documentation, stormwater management, hydrology, permitting and construction administration for this new 300,000 sq. ft., STEM high school for Gwinnett County Public Schools.

Chick-fil-A

Various Locations, USA

Chick-fil-A partners with Bowman to provide civil engineering and survey services for new stores across the southeast. Services include site planning, utility design, drainage and grading design, as well as ALTA surveys and topographic and boundary surveys. Bowman also provides permitting services. Building sizes are typically around 5,000 sq. ft. and site sizes range from less than an acre to three acres.

Sam’s Club Stores/Fueling Stations

Various Locations, CO, FL, GA, MD, SC, VA

Bowman has worked on multiple Sam's Club Store and Fueling Station projects throughout the United States, providing engineering, planning, surveying, and environmental due diligence studies. The scope also included underground utilities, erosion & sediment control and drainage plans.

Circle K

Various Locations, USA

Bowman has partnered with Circle K on multiple sites throughout the US to provide site planning and design for their convenience store, gas station and truck stop developments. Services provided include site, utility and drainage and stormwater management design, permitting and rezoning services for new ground-up sites as well as raze and rebuild sites. Permitting was with Cities, Counties, NRCS, EPD and DOT.
