Bowman provided commissioning services for multiple projects in the iconic Cathedral of Learning on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh. Projects include major renovations to areas of the building, including full HVAC/MEP replacement, and complete HW systems upgrades. Renovations in a historic building such as the Cathedral of Learning can prove to be a challenge for any project team given the limited space, marrying of new systems with old, and client’s high standards for material requirements and quality control. Working closely with the University of Pittsburgh and the entire project team (design and construction), we were successful in delivering fully commissioned, operational systems that meet the project requirements.
