Bowman was tapped to prepare an issued for construction (IFC) package for a 200 MW power island supporting liquefied natural gas (LNG) operations along the Gulf Coast. The system design integrated five gas turbine generator packages with supporting balance of plant infrastructure to meet the facility’s demanding power needs.
The IFC package included all civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation and controls components. Bowman also provided project management oversight and project controls reporting to maintain the project’s aggressive timeline. The resulting IFC package gave the client everything needed to move straight into construction, ensuring the LNG facility had adequate power to commission and operate the facility ahead of schedule.
