The Southern Arizona Home Builders Association (SAHBA) brought together builders, developers and industry partners for its 2026 Denim and Diamonds Awards Reception, an annual event recognizing the individuals and projects shaping the future of housing across the region.
Among this year’s honorees were several Bowman team members and projects, reflecting the firm’s continued role in supporting growth and innovation throughout Southern Arizona.
Chris Laria, project manager in landscape architecture at Bowman and chair of SAHBA’s Technical Committee, was recognized with the Advocacy Leader Award. The honor reflects his ongoing work representing industry interests in the public sector, where he has played a key role in advancing dialogue between stakeholders and decision-makers.
Andrea Rocha, civil engineer II at Bowman, received the Member MVP Award for her leadership on Mattamy Homes’ Mountain View Ranch project. Her recognition highlights a consistent focus on project delivery, quality and client service.
Beyond individual honors, Bowman provided design services for several communities that earned awards for homebuilders and developers. KB Home earned Community of the Year for Saguaro Haven, Sunbelt Holdings was named Developer of the Year, supported in part by the sale of 604 lots in Monarch Blocks 1 and 2 and Mattamy Homes was recognized as Builder of the Year for projects including Westbridge and Mountain View Ranch.
SAHBA’s annual awards highlight collaboration across the residential construction industry, uniting professionals committed to expanding housing opportunities and supporting thriving communities throughout Southern Arizona. For Bowman, this year’s recognition underscores both individual leadership and the broader impact of its work across the region.
