Barbours Cut Terminal is one of the busiest container facilities on the Gulf Coast, and the Port of Houston is investing heavily to keep it that way. As part of a $650M capital improvement program, the port is undertaking a major reconfiguration of the terminal to modernize operations and expand capacity for the future of container logistics.
Bowman is providing planning and design services for the redevelopment of the West End Container Yard, a 140-acre effort to expand loaded container operations utilizing rubber tire gantry cranes. Our services include terminal planning, capacity upgrade schemes and traffic flow evaluations.
