Twenty-five members of Bowman’s Energy & Infrastructure structural and site civil teams recently gathered in Richmond, Virginia for their first in-person team meetup.
The three-day event brought team members together for a mix of collaborative office sessions and team-building activities designed to strengthen relationships, encourage knowledge sharing and foster meaningful connections beyond day-to-day work. The gathering also included lighthearted team superlative awards that celebrated the group’s personality and camaraderie.
For a team that collaborates across disciplines, the opportunity to spend time together in person was as valuable as the agenda itself. The meetup created space for employees to share ideas, better understand one another’s roles and build the kind of trust that strengthens day-to-day collaboration. Just as importantly, it gave a growing team time to connect as people, bringing energy, perspective and a shared sense of purpose back to the work they do together.
