Our team was selected to provide mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering services for the new 120,000 sq. ft. Ernst and Young McLean offices and conference center. The project involved the design and construction administration for five floors of corporate office space. Bowman’s design will modify the existing base building VAV system to meet the new tenant layout, and design new dedicated units to serve the new MDF and IDF rooms. The mechanical systems design also includes a dedicated roof top unit to provide ventilation, cooling and heating for the new 18th floor multipurpose space which houses a two story pre function area on the top floor. The electrical design consists of a new critical uninterruptable standby power distribution system, lighting, fire alarm and raceways for low voltage systems. Plumbing design includes a full set of tenant Men’s and Women’s Restrooms to supplement the building core restrooms.
