Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. (Bowman), one of the nation’s principal engineering firms, announced today it has ranked #172 in Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) Top 500 US Design Firms. This rank marks the sixth consecutive year the Reston, Virginia-based firm has been ranked among the top 200. Rankings were based on 2018 revenue.
“We take great pride in being recognized and continuing to move up in ENR’s rankings,” said Mike Bruen, Chief Operating Officer of Bowman. “2018 was an exciting year and we project continued double-digit growth in 2019.”
In 2018, Bowman further pentrated the transportation, oil and gas, power and energy, and mining markets and saw strong activity with core land development and municipal government clients. Bowman experienced predominately organic growth in 2018, but also grew through strategic partnerships and acquisitions. In Arizona, Bowman acquired WestLand Resources, Inc.’s Land Development Engineering Practice and substantially all of the assets of Atherton Engineering, Inc.
