Bowman Expands Environmental Capabilities with Addition of Cultural Resources Services

December 13, 2023

Bowman has expanded its capabilities with the addition of cultural resources services, including archaeology and historic architecture, structures and cultural landscapes.

The new service line, spearheaded by Project Manager, Garrett Silliman, enables Bowman to provide clients with comprehensive environmental capabilities under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), due diligence and state permitting when applicable.

Silliman brings more than 25 years of proven experience in archaeology, history and cultural resource management. His knowledge spans the renewable energy, federal government and transportation sectors, where he has efficiently managed projects requiring compliance with Section 106 and 110 of the NHPA, Native American consultation, NEPA and the Archaeological Resources Protection Act.

In his new role at Bowman, Silliman will lead and develop the cultural resource service line within the existing environmental practice, further solidifying Bowman’s commitment to delivering comprehensive and high-quality environmental solutions.

Bowman’s Texas team also recently earned a geosciences license, enabling the company to provide enhanced services to clients across the Lone Star State.
