Sometimes the most impactful work doesn’t happen on a project site or in a deliverable, but in a room where people take the time to better understand how they work together.
That’s exactly what took place in Williamsburg, Virginia, where Bowman’s water and wastewater east team came together for a recent Team Connect session. With a mix of long-time employees and newer team members, the goal was to build stronger relationships and find better ways to work as one team.
Through a structured team assessment, the group got a clearer picture of where they’re performing well and where there’s room to grow. That led to honest conversations about day-to-day habits like communication, setting expectations and following through. More importantly, those insights are tied directly back to real priorities like project delivery, growth and collaboration across offices.
Team Connect is just one example of how Bowman invests in its people. It’s part of a broader suite of professional development programs designed to strengthen teams, support leadership growth and create opportunities for employees to build meaningful connections across the organization.
