Congratulation to Trish Hollar, Executive Vice President of Human Capital at Bowman. Trish is included in DCA Live’s 2021 HR Leaders of the Year among an impressive list of peers that will be celebrated on September 9th. Trish was nominated by her peers in the DC HR community and was selected for exceptional performance as an HR leader and for demonstrated contributions to her organization. A well-deserved honor and especially in 2021, when HR professionals were forced to pivot to overcome many challenges thrown their way.

A graduate of Marymount University with a master’s degree in human resources management, Trish has been with Bowman for more than 17 years and oversees a human resources organization that is responsible for more than 800 employees in 32 offices across the US. At Bowman, Trish’s primary objective is to take business strategy and translate it in people priorities and initiatives. These priorities and initiatives are aimed at ensuring a healthy workplace culture where Bowman employees are highly engaged and supported by the organization.

Trish is passionate about the many people that make Bowman great and has invested in growing top-tier internal programs that cultivate our talent. Trish developed and leads Bowman’s Linchpin program, a premier internal talent development program, and Managing Your Career program, that helps staff gain clarity on their interests, strengths and capabilities in order to maximize career satisfaction and map career goals. In addition, Bowman supports an inclusive work environment. As such, Trish provides direction to support diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives like our WILDEST (Women in Land Development, Engineering, Survey and Technology) affinity group. Trish lives two of our cultural values, growth and relationships by being available to any employee who wants to discuss how they can make a difference at Bowman.

Congratulations, Trish!
