Tri-State Tollway (I-294) Reconstruction, Mile Long Bridge

The Mile Long Bridge is a critical piece of infrastructure to the Central Tri-State Tollway (I-294) corridor as it carries drivers over two major railroads, three water sources and local roads, and over a major distribution center for UPS and Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railway. Bowman is providing Phase III construction management services for this multi-year project.

U.S. Naval Academy Hammer Throw Field Improvements

Bowman provided surveying, civil engineering, site and landscape plans, and a forest conservation plan for this project at the U.S. Naval Academy in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Bowman’s scope of services included regrading and providing swales around the hammer throw fields to provide stormwater management through swale infiltration.

UT Tennis Center, UTGC Recreational Swim Center, and TWC Residential Casitas

This mixed-use project includes a tennis center with six indoor courts and four outdoor courts for University of Texas Athletics, a recreational swimming facility and concession building for The University of Texas Golf Club, and 20 residential “casitas” (condominiums). Bowman refined the land plan, designed the shared on-site and off-site infrastructure, and managed the site plan approval process.

Summers Corner

Stearns Road

Bowman provided Phase II engineering services for the design of the New Stearns Road. Other roadways included in this project include McLean Boulevard and IL Route 31. Bowman’s staff prepared plans, specifications, and estimates for the construction of this new four-lane roadway.

South Florida Water Management District, Surveying & Mapping Services Contract

Bowman is the prime consultant performing general surveying and mapping services in support of projects across the South Florida Water Management District’s 16 counties of responsibility. Services performed under this contract include boundary surveys, topographic surveys, right-of-way surveys, and hydrographic surveys.

South Pointe Estates

Bowman partnered with Dan Ryan Builders on this new development located in Summerville, South Carolina. South Pointe Estates is located near Azalea Town Square and Historic Downtown Summerville. Bowman provided civil engineering and surveying services.

Southwest Gas Replacement Program

Bowman provides on-call planning and survey services to this statewide utility expansion program. The team delivers right-of-way analysis, topographic surveys, construction stake outs and as built surveys. Includes steel transmission and distribution main replacement, HDD design, neighborhood grid and service replacement, and new development. Also provides pressure test construction, tie-in and corrosion protection details, regulator station design, cost estimates and client/city coordination.

Stafford County On-Call Contract

Bowman performed general surveying services under on-call survey contracts for Stafford County. These services cover property and topographic surveys for design property boundary surveys construction stake-outs and property plats indicating right-of-way and/or easement requirements.
