45MW Power Island for Data Center

South Central United States

Bowman conducted a front-end engineering design (FEED) study with a confidential client to evaluate power island solutions capable of delivering approximately 45 MW to a major data center in the South Central U.S. using reciprocating natural gas engine packages. As part of the assignment, the design package addressed both the configuration and integration of the primary generation units and the supporting balance of plant systems.

Key deliverables included a Level 3 EPC project schedule, a Class IV estimate with a -30% to +50% accuracy range and a facility plot plan. Supporting technical documentation included a major equipment list, process flow diagram, electrical load study and a controls philosophy narrative. To guide implementation, Bowman also developed a comprehensive project execution plan and a clearly defined construction scope of work—giving the client a complete foundation for moving forward with design development and procurement.
