Bowman developed ADA design plans for the installation and upgrade of ADA-compliant curb ramps across the Philadelphia metro area, part of the city’s larger initiative to install 10,000 ADA-compliant curb ramps by April 2038.
Our scope supports standalone intersection improvements as well as larger roadway projects involving surface treatment, traffic signalization and water/sewer infrastructure. Services include topographic surveying, horizontal and vertical ramp
design, design documentation, material quantity estimates and preparation of technically infeasible forms when needed.
Bowman has extensive field and design experience with current ADA requirements and has developed proprietary tools that streamline both design and quantity takeoffs. To date, we have completed more than 3,000 curb ramp designs across Philadelphia.
