The house was constructed in 1913 by the Arizona Copper Company (ACC) for its General Manager. Bowman was commissioned to perform a geotechnical/foundation, structural/framing and plumbing investigation to address observed deteriorating and distressed conditions of the house. While plumbing, foundation bearing and wall strength condition were determined be good, a framing investigation revealed the cause of wall cracks floor slope issues associated with beams, headers, bearing walls and foundation walls. Bowman provided a list of framing improvements.
