Bowman provided disaster recovery services on behalf of York Risk Services Group to assess the physical and financial damage to Great Gorge Golf Course as a result of Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee. In 2011, the golf course was stuck with damage to its buildings, fairways, cartways, and outlying areas to the golf courses. Severe erosion and sedimentation occurred as a result of recently cleared areas on-site to accommodate new power lines. Bowman services consisted of assessing damage through analysis of on-site mapping before and after conditions and preparing a report and photo documentation of findings. Thorough research of NOAA Weather Service was conducted in order to confirm and assess rainfall amounts.
