Bowman supported Francis Energy’s nationwide deployment of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.
Working under accelerated delivery schedules, Bowman provided integrated civil, structural and electrical engineering for charging station sites across multiple jurisdictions. The team developed site layouts, grading and utility infrastructure, electrical distribution systems, equipment foundations, lighting, signage and supporting engineering documentation while ensuring compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
As part of the design effort, Bowman also prepared the engineering plans, details and calculations necessary to ensure each charging station met Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility requirements, helping create charging facilities that are accessible and compliant for all users.
