The extraordinarily rapid growth of George Mason University in the last three decades is accompanied by increased demand for on-campus faculty and staff. Northeast Sector and West Campus expansion projects are an integral part of the university’s overall master plan that will enable the continued growth of this world-class campus.
Bowman provided civil engineering and land surveying services to this multi-phased, design-build housing project. Phase I, II and III consisted of the Northeast Sector and the West Campus sites with development of 422 total units, including 75 apartments, 105-unit townhomes, 164 urban townhomes, 58 duplex units and 20 small lot units. Bowman also provided civil engineering and land surveying services for the Phase I Northeast Sector site, including final site plans and numerous environmental permits for the construction of 157 townhouse condominiums, roads, stormwater management facilities, trails, and associated infrastructure, including public improvements to Roberts Road.
