Bowman provided civil engineering, survey, permitting and construction support services for the four-story, 96-room Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham hotel. The project included underground parking and transformed a vacant commercial parcel into a hospitality destination consistent with the town’s mixed-use development vision.
Bowman’s scope included boundary and ALTA/ACSM surveys, detailed site engineering for grading, drainage, stormwater treatment, erosion control and utility design, as well as project management and coordination with municipal and state agencies. Bowman also supported the permitting process, securing approvals for stormwater discharge, erosion control and water and wastewater supply.
Additional services included traffic impact analysis, pump station capacity evaluation, fire flow and hydrant coordination, plan revisions, construction-phase observation, certification and as-built documentation. Bowman’s integrated team guided the project through state and municipal permitting with proactive coordination and responsive communication, supporting regulatory compliance and on-schedule completion by 2020.
