Bowman provided surveying services on a Duke Energy power plant railway project. The purpose of this project was to conduct an investigational study to determine the condition of railroad tracks and the feasibility of future improvements. The project consisted of surveying services for a railroad site located approximately one mile north of Lee Steam Plant, near the Dunlap Road grade crossing. Bowman was responsible for the project management, processing and final deliverable of survey data for approximately 4,000 feet of rail corridor, up to three tracks wide.
