The Magik Theatre is a beloved children’s theater located in San Antonio, Texas, dedicated to inspiring and educating young audiences through live performances of classic and original productions. Founded in 1994, the theater has become a cultural landmark in Hemisfair Park, a historic district in downtown San Antonio.
Our team performed a topographic survey for the project limits, which included LiDAR and imagery utilizing the Trimble SX10 Terrestrial LiDAR scanner to acquire high-density scans of the interior and exterior limits of the building and project site. The data was used by the architect to produce images and mapping of the multi-level areas within the building. Outside of the building, our team is slated to provide grading and ADA design services for the reconfiguration of the building entry and ADA access to the facility, ensuring improved accessibility for all visitors.
This project plays a role in supporting the continued mission of the Magik Theatre, enhancing its infrastructure while maintaining its commitment to providing high-quality theatrical experiences for children and families throughout San Antonio and beyond.
