Miromar Outlets is situated on a 75-acre parcel located north of Corkscrew Road, between I-75 and Ben Hill Griffin Parkway. The project is a portion of the Timberland and Tiburon DRI, and is zoned CPD with 700,000 sg. ft. of building area approved. Miromar Outlets features more than 140 top designers and brand name outlets, plus restaurants, banks, a gas station and the main offices for Miromar Development Corporation. This is an open air mall with the majority of the shops accessible from the main pedestrian boulevard.
The mall’s main entrances are located on Corkscrew Road and Ben Hill Griffin Parkway with a back entrance to the Germain Arena located directly north of the site. The most recent expansion to the mall brought the approved development order square footage to almost 671,000 sq. ft.
Our team provided civil engineering, survey and construction engineering inspection services for Miromar Outlets which utilizes Mediterranean architecture and large water features, including several fountains and reflection ponds and numerous courtyards to enhance their visitor’s experience. The facility also features lakeside restaurants and a seasonal water ski show in the large lake to the north of the property.
We were responsible for permitting through Lee County, South Florida Water Management District, Lee County Utilities for several mall expansions. Additionally, our team prepared the subdivision plat and assisted with the construction services and certifications to the different agencies for several of the expansions.
