Our team was contracted to perform surveying and engineering services on this project. The project consisted of approximately 2.1 acres located at the intersection of Carroll Road and Deep Landing Road. Services performed were in support of the development of a solar panel farm on the subject property. The solar panels were mounted on a concrete foundation.
Scope included detailed topographic survey of the area bounded by the woods line to the South and East, and centerlines of Deep Landing and Carroll Roads on the North and West. Preliminary engineering services were performed to facilitate initial discussions with Calvert County officials for the solar farm development. These services included a concept plan to illustrate the improvements relating to the proposed solar panels, utilizing the topographic survey. The plan also identified access to the solar panels, provided a rough outline of the solar panel layout and illustrated a preliminary grading and stormwater management mitigation concept.
