Bowman provided master planning, community engagement, landscape architecture and cost estimating services for the Town of Greenfield, NH, to support the revitalization of Oak Park.
The planning process involved public outreach and stakeholder engagement to ensure the proposed improvements reflected local priorities and future needs. Bowman facilitated public input sessions and developed and administered an online questionnaire to gather feedback and help establish project goals.
The resulting master plan includes a new band pavilion, tennis, basketball and pickleball courts, upgraded playground equipment, an RC crawler course, a frisbee golf course, historic markers, farmers market vending areas and a seasonal ice rink. The plan also incorporates a new park entrance and expanded parking.
Bowman developed conceptual designs and cost estimates to support implementation of these improvements and help the town establish a phasing plan, funding strategies and construction priorities.
