Bowman was contracted to provide feasibility, engineering and environmental support services for the critical minerals project in Nevada. The brownfield redevelopment project focuses on historic copper, molybdenum and silver resources and is supported by a letter of intent from the Export-Import Bank of the United States.
Services performed by Bowman include preparation of a definitive feasibility study, front-end engineering design (FEED) as well as planning and design for an on-site pilot plant to support metallurgical testing and environmental remediation. Bowman will also provide environmental permitting support through late 2026, along with ongoing engineering and advisory services as the project advances toward anticipated production.
The project supports efforts to strengthen domestic critical minerals supply chains for energy and defense applications. Bowman’s involvement spans multiple phases of the project life cycle, including development, engineering and environmental remediation planning, supporting the transition of the site into a modern, integrated mining operation.
