Designed, secured permits, and provided bid support and construction management services for the maintenance dredging of sites located on the Arthur Kill River along New Jersey and New York shorelines.
Scope of work included coordinating pre-dredge surveys, calculating pre-dredge volumes, preparing sediment sampling and analysis plans (SSAP), submitting to permitting agencies for approval, coordinating sediment sampling and testing, securing NJDEP, NYDEC and ACOE permits, updating and renewing tideland licenses, submitting AUD and LSRP letters for upland disposal and designing and bidding the project.
Our team assisted Kinder Morgan during the bid process, providing construction management services during the dredging and disposal activities, coordinating the post dredging hydrographic surveys and inspection of dredging tickets and comparison of estimated dredge material volume vs. actual dredge material volume.
