Sandrini Solar

Kern County, CA

Our team provided comprehensive engineering and permitting services for a large-scale, ~1,800-acre PV solar development. This facility brings more than 300 MW of renewable energy to the grid, contributing to California’s clean energy goals and long-term sustainability targets.

Our civil and structural engineering teams collaborated to deliver a site-optimized design, including grading, drainage, and hydrology solutions tailored to the regional landscape. The project also incorporated innovative structural foundation systems for fencing, equipment pads, and specialized cable management, ensuring durability and cost-efficiency.

A unique feature of this project was the integration of an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) facility with ADA-compliant parking. Bowman’s design not only addressed operational efficiency but also advanced inclusive access standards, making this facility accessible to all personnel.

Through strategic permitting support and technical precision, our team successfully streamlined project approvals while enabling a design that balances performance, regulatory compliance and long-term maintainability. This solar installation demonstrates our engineers’ ability to deliver scalable renewable energy infrastructure that aligns with client, community and environmental needs.
