Bowman was selected as the sole-source district-wide commissioning agent. The project was funded by a $14.2M bond issuance in 2017 and involves the modernization of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and lighting systems at Steamboat Springs Middle School. Energy performance features include daylighting/vacancy controls, high efficiency hot water boilers, high performance LED lighting, air-cooled chiller, thermal/visual/acoustical comfort, automated shading and solatubes, direct digital control/graphics diagnostics, heating cooling fan coil units
Our successful work on the middle school led to Bowman being selected as sole-source commissioning agent for the district’s 2020 79.5M bond covering 6 schools.
