Bowman is the on-call, municipal engineer for the Township of West Caldwell. Through this, the team is responsible for preparing and submitting multiple municipal aid grant applications to the NJ Department of Transportation on behalf of the Township for Stonybrook Road. Once accepted, Bowman surveyed, designed, and oversaw the reconstruction of this 3,600 lf collector road. The project included the realignment of a substandard horizontal curve and the reconfiguration of the intersection with a side street within this horizontal curve. Specific details include the installation of granite block curbing and concrete sidewalks, the selective realignment of existing roadway, stormwater and groundwater collection systems, and the installation of ADA accessible curb ramps.
