Bowman provided comprehensive land acquisition services in support Pattern Energy’s Uplands Wind project, a two-phase, 600 MW renewable energy development. Services included project management; lease negotiation and execution; and acquisition of access, gathering, generation tie-in and temporary construction easements.
Our land acquisition approach prioritized landowner partnerships and community engagement, with easement and lease agreements structured to minimize impacts to farming and ranching operations and maximize long-term local benefit.
The project comprises two 300 MW wind facilities generating renewable electricity for approximately 215,000 homes. The $1 billion investment is expected to deliver $2.4 million per year in local community revenue and approximately $72 million over the project’s 30-year life.
