This abandoned warehouse on Commerce Street in San Antonio was renovated
into a 50,000 sq. ft. self-storage facility and leasing office. Our team assisted with
the subdivision plat of the 1.75-acre downtown property. Utilization of the existing
structure required coordination with architect, contractor and developer throughout
the design and construction process to coordinate building encroachment issues,
new utilities, easements and bringing existing structure up to fire and ADA code. The
addition of the new leasing office was designed to integrate into the existing site
configuration by utilizing the existing driveways while still allowing traffic access to
the loading dock of the newly renovated self-storage facility.
