Bowman completed a drainage basin analysis and groundwater study to evaluate the impact mining would have on the regional watershed within the Adirondack Mountains. The 100-acre mining facility set in the eastern Adirondack Mountains was evaluated in terms of its groundwater, surface water and wetland impacts. Bowman conducted the field delineation of the wetlands and described the geological deposit and its surface water and groundwater characteristics.
