Several members of team Bowman took on the San Diego Triathlon Challenge as a relay team, supporting the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF)—an organization focused on expanding access to adaptive sports opportunities nationwide.
The race included a one-mile swim, 30-mile bike ride and eight-mile run, though high surf conditions canceled the swim. The team adjusted on the fly, combining efforts on the bike and finishing strong with the final run.
Participating in events like this is one of the ways our teams stay connected to the communities around them. Supporting organizations like CAF helps create more opportunities for athletes of all abilities and gives our people a chance to get involved in something meaningful outside of their day-to-day work.
