Project Highlights

Bingham and Temperance Solar

Multiple Locations, MI
Temperance Solar and Bingham Solar are two projects located in Michigan and are 29.7 MWDC and 29.3 MWDC in size, respectively. Our team, in partnership with J-Ranck Electric, provided civil, structural and electrical engineering, and assisted with commissioning. The substations for each project were prepared in-house under the supervision of our medium/high voltage engineer.

Connell Solar L’Oreal Headquarters

Berkeley Heights, NJ
Bowman obtained land use approvals for this LEED Gold Certified headquarters. The project sits on 12.83 acres and included the installation of over 21,000 sq. ft. of rooftop solar panels and 91,000 sq. ft. of parking lot canopy solar panels. Bowman performed initial due diligence research of municipal zoning, site plans, and coordination through the approval process.

Cople Elementary School Solar Project

Westmoreland County, VA
5-acre 2,100 solar panel array located on existing Elementary School property produces 1.2 megawatts a year, offset-ting the facilities carbon footprint by 865 tons of CO2. This project is part of a Power Purchase Agreement with Sun-Tribe Solar which resulted in no investment from the County and estimated to save $3.6 million over the solar array's lifespan. Bowman provided comprehensive engineering and surveying services.

Edenton Solar

Edenton, NC
This project was located on the coast in harsh and wet environmental conditions near the North Carolina Albermarle Sound. Our team provided the full electrical design (PV system, auxiliary power, medium voltage design) and the structural design (inverter group structures, equipment pads).

Bowman performed various services for the proposed 1099 kW solar array: New Solar Field, 4 AC, Greenport, NY - surveying and site plan preparation including boundary survey research of 4 acres. Carnegie Center Solar Canopy Project, West Windsor, NJ - surveying and site plan preparation on 4 Sites.

Charger

Refugio County, TX
Performed surveying services for approximately 2,400 acres located in Refugio County near Austin, TX. The scope included an aerial survey to collect orthoimagery and an on-the-ground boundary survey to produce ALTA surveys for all project area. Our team of professional surveyors marked out points and lines of any significant features found in the field and after in-depth title work.

Asheboro, NC
Spencer Meadow Solar and Lowe Country Solar (Spencer & Lowe) are a pair of twin projects near Asheboro, NC. Our team provided the electrical and structural engineering, a comprehensive plan set and construction support.

Bedford Solar

Bedford, VA
Our engineering team worked closely with the racking manufacturer and civil engineer to optimize the site for installation and system performance. The layout takes advantage of the slight southern facing slope of the parcel, while varied east to west spacing and backtracking reduces inter-row shading on the rolling terrain.

Calvert County, MD
Bowman provided a detailed topographic survey and preliminary engineering services to facilitate initial discussions with Calvert County officials and included a concept plan to illustrate the improvements relating to the proposed solar panels.
