This past August, Bowman joined community leaders and project partners to celebrate the grand opening of Cutalong at Tributer Resort’s golf clubhouse, a milestone that marks the beginning of one of the nation’s premier golf resort communities. During the ribbon cutting ceremony, Bowman team members Robert Krallinger, Nitant Desai and Bree Mariano were recognized with awards honoring their leadership and contributions.
Bowman provided planning, design and permitting for the water and wastewater facilities serving the 1,000-acre golf course community. Using state-of-the-art membrane bioreactor (MBR) technology and a multi-stage treatment process, the new system produces exceptionally high quality water, allowing the treatment plant’s discharge to be safely reused for irrigating the golf course. This sustainable approach reduces dependence on groundwater, protects the quality of Lake Anna and delivers critical infrastructure that meets Virginia’s highest reuse standards.
The golf clubhouse now serves as the heart of Cutalong, anchoring a community that blends championship-caliber golf, luxury villas and cottages and modern amenities. With more than $85 million already invested and an additional $25 million planned over the next 18 months, the project is positioned as both an economic catalyst and a cultural landmark for the Lake Anna region.
Bowman congratulates Robert, Nitant and Bree on their well-deserved recognition and is honored to have supported this transformative project that will shape the future of Lake Anna for years to come.
