Giving back can take a lot of forms. Sometimes it’s a donation and other times it’s getting your hands dirty. Team Bowman in Allentown, PA did exactly that during the Mulch & Mingle Event at Second Harvest Food Bank, part of Community Action Lehigh Valley. Through the Bowman Cares program, the team spent time harvesting produce and preparing garden beds for the next growing season, supporting efforts that help provide fresh food to families across the community.
For a team that’s been working alongside the City of Allentown for more than a decade by delivering transportation projects and helping with secure funding for future improvements, this was another way to stay connected locally. Different kind of work but the same commitment to supporting the community they’re part of.
