Bowman provided economic modeling, pit design, geologic modeling, logistics analysis, NPV analysis and mine plan sequencing.

Bowman was contracted to provide geologic exploration, geochemical modeling, pit design, tailings storage design and geotechnical services. Bowman also provided required reclamation planning, visual, sound and air quality studies in support of the mine expansion.

Bowman was contracted to provide engineering services for a proposed overpass to separate haul truck traffic on a ROM Haul Road and light vehicle traffic on a mine access road. The overpass allows efficient and safe mine site traffic circulation by eliminating a Haul Road and light vehicle traffic road intersection.

Partnered with Weeks Marine, our team provided multiple roles and services for this project. We acted as the geologist of record and provides construction material inspection and oversite services at the breakwater materials extraction source (Carver Johnstown Quarry).

Bowman prepared plans to re-route an existing acid pipeline that encounters a proposed fine ore stockpile. The design work included close coordination with engineering firm that was designing the stockpile.

Confidential client in SE Arizona commissioned Bowman to conduct construction quality assurance (CQA) for articulated concrete blocks (ACB’s) installed in reclaimed mine areas for spillway down chutes. Verified installation of subgrade, geotextile, filter layer, geogrid, mats, concrete grout lines and anchor trenches to meet manufacturer’s specifications.

Bowman provided engineering services for the detail engineering for the Heavy-Duty Truck Shop (HDTS) traffic area grading and a new truck wash rack to replace existing inadequate infrastructure.

A mile-long concrete channel was constructed at the ASARCO Ray Mine to convey contact water from the Mineral Creek outlet downstream near the mine entrance. Bowman provided construction management, quality assurance, plant commissioning and coordination between contractors during the commissioning and start-up phase. 

Bowman was contracted to scan historic drawings and organize drawing files for easy retrieval using laptops and notepads in the field. Our team migrated existing drawing storage system into BIM 360 input meta-data to allow for easy retrieval of information.
