Bowman provided civil site engineering services and prepared construction documents for the development of Block Thirty Seven, a mixed-use retail and entertainment, CTA transit station, office and retail project at 108 North State Street.

This innovative transit oriented project consists of 79 residential units and ground floor retail. Bowman provided oversight and planning for the initial demolition of the building as well as site plan/design, land surveying, and coordination with adjacent supermarket, restaurant, and bank to create driveway access and sufficient parking for the property. Bowman also provided landscape architecture services, to include streetscape design.

Bowman provided its core planning, surveying, and civil design serves to deliver a mixed-used development on 701 acres. The team was challenged to incorporate elements of includes retail, office, multi-family, townhome, and single family uses in a tight and topographically constrained site.
