Avenue at South Orange

This innovative transit oriented project consists of 79 residential units and ground floor retail. Bowman provided oversight and planning for the initial demolition of the building as well as site plan/design, land surveying, and coordination with adjacent supermarket, restaurant, and bank to create driveway access and sufficient parking for the property. Bowman also provided landscape architecture services, to include streetscape design.

Ballie Trust Pipeline

Bowman provided its core planning, survey, and design services to deliver a pipeline expansion project on a very tight deadline. The team had to navigate environmental sensitive areas, state and federal permitting requirements, endangered animals, and changing landowner consents.

Ballpark Village

A Planned Area Development was previously approved for the stadium, practice facilities and basic infrastructure, which are currently in operation. The remaining parcels of land surrounding the facilities remain vacant. Bowman provided engineering and surveying services to support a proposed land use change from intense office to medium- and high-density residential for 60 acres of property in the southern portion of the project.

Bastrop Co. Complex Fire Recovery Program

Bowman provided project management services which included direct administration and manage-ment of a significant portion of the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community De-velopment Block Group grant for Disaster Recovery awarded through the Texas General Land Office for the non-housing allocation of the CDBG-DR grant, in conjunction with an Emergency Watershed Protection grant from the Natural Resource Conservation Service.

75th Street Intersection Improvements

Phase I Engineering Services to evaluate four intersections to identify improvements that will address the accident history, increase the safety of the intersections, and create continuity throughout the corridor while minimizing impacts to the operational characteristics of the intersections. Includes Intersection Design Studies, Drainage Technical Memo and preparation of a Project Development Report for 75th Street.

Academies of Loudoun

Bowman was responsible for the land planning feasibility and commission permit legislative process, landscape architecture, arboriculture, civil engineering, environmental, and surveying services for Loudoun’s 320,000 sq. ft. premier STEM education facility combining the Academies of Science, Monroe Advanced Technical Academy, and the Academy of Engineering and Technology.

Albemarle County Economic Development Site Evaluation

Bowman provided engineering services to evaluate the site readiness and economic development suitability of nine properties located within the County-designated growth area to evaluate their po-tential for economic development and the value that Bowman can create through the quantification of site development needs such as entitlements, permits, soils, environmental features, surveys and available infrastructure.

Alexander’s Crossing

Alexis Wind Farm

Bowman established the primary geodetic control network consisting of 20 control monuments throughout a 70,000 acre wind farm development in Western Illinois. Bowman used GPS static observations and advanced post-processing adjustments to establish NAD83 horizontal and NGVD88 vertical datum to support the boundary survey and ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey and future construction stakeout for this wind farm.

Amazon Building (Project Rook)

Bowman provided various professional services for this 346,400 sq. ft. warehouse and was responsible for the planning and design of stormwater management, storm drain layouts, water and sanitary sew-er alignments, erosion and sediment control staging, permitting, as well as retrofit design for storm-water pond conversion.
