Madbush Falls – Riders’ Outpost was an exciting project involved a complete rehabilitation and transformation of an abandoned old motel and bar known as the Madbush Alpine Chalet in Waitsfield, VT along VT Route 100 a few miles from the Sugarbush Ski Resort.

Our team was retained by the South Carolina Department of Transportation, District 5 to perform emergency 3D laser scanning surveys on a ¾ mile segment of Interstate 95 running northerly from the I-95/I-20 Interchange.

Our firm was retained by PennDOT for the preliminary engineering and final design of the $3.5M “Dallas 5-Leg” intersection improvement project. This project was identified as a “high priority” project in the Back Mountain Area Council of Government’s Transportation Plan.

Since 2003, our firm has been a transportation consultant to the City of Fort Myers on multiple, consecutive contracts that have precipitated numerous design, planning, and traffic engineering projects. Our team has carried the Challenger Boulevard at Winkler Avenue project from study/conception to final design.

Our team prepared design plans for a half-mile segment of NW 31st Avenue, from NW 39th Street to NW 44th Street. The City initiated this LAP/JPA (Joint Permit Application) project to implement complete streets, particularly to provide sidewalk along the east side, providing safer pedestrian access to transit stops.

Our team completed multiple tasks on a Continuing Service Traffic Signal Design Contract with the Palm Beach County Traffic Division. Assignments included a school zone LAP project and preparation of traffic signal installation plans for multiple county intersections.

This project included a 10’ wide bituminous asphalt shared-use path beginning at a proposed parking lot adjacent to the reconfigured Judy House driveway access along Lower Mountain Road. The path extends north along Lower Mountain Road before turning to generally follow Lower York Road (SR 0202) eastbound.

Bowman along with Wildlife Imaging Systems is monitoring bat flight behaviors at wind turbines with thermal imaging cameras and post-construction monitoring. The videos obtained are processed using machine learning algorithms to identify bat tracks and unique behaviors associated with bat attraction to wind turbines.
