CASE STUDY: REVA Rahway: Transforming Urban Living Through Landscape Architecture

Project Overview

REVA Rahway is a new multi-family residential building, situated on 3.5 acres of land in downtown Rahway, NJ. The project includes 219 residential units within a 5-story building with two exterior amenity spaces. Both amenity spaces are situated at the second floor.

Bowman’s landscape architecture team played an essential role in the planning and design of the Reva Rahway project, ensuring the outdoor spaces met the highest standards of efficiency, safety and environmental responsibility. The team’s work was recognized with the prestigious NJASLA Landscape Architecture Design Award for Residential Design, underscoring Bowman’s expertise in creating functional yet visually striking environments.

The team also provided full landscape and hardscape construction services, bringing the exterior spaces to life with a focus on both beauty and usability.

Civil & Site Engineering: Bowman delivered key site improvements, including site layout, stormwater management and utility upgrades. These elements were critical in optimizing the site’s functionality while ensuring it met environmental standards. Additional site improvements included detailed planting and site lighting designs to enhance both aesthetics and practicality.
