Bowman provided its core surveying, land planning, and engineering services for the development of one of the Mid-Atlantic region’s top-selling planned communities. Bowman’s survey and design teams were responsible for over 50% of the residential development as they prepared preliminary and final plans.

Bowman provided its core planning and civil design services to creatively tackle a brownfield redevelopment.

Bowman delivered civil engineering design services for the 177-acre Promenade project in the Town of Castle Rock, which is one of the largest community center developments in the country.

Bowman provided site, utility, drainage and stormwater design, as well as rezoning and full permitting services for new ground-up sites in the Charleston SC market. Permitting was conducted with applicable Local, State and Federal agencies. The stores are approx. 5,000 sq. ft. and sites range from 3-6 acres.

Bowman provided overall design, design management, roadway and drainage design, hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, traffic engineering/management, electrical design, ITS, tolling systems, right-of-way and ATCs through Tender Phase.

Bowman provided a detailed topographic and utility as-built survey on approximately 41 acres, in three separate areas of Chambers Field, Hangar 167 at Naval Station Norfolk.

Provided surveying services for 15 projects including surveying anomalies at Site Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) sites, surveying in support of munitions response activities, location and stake out of groundwater screening and injection locations and more.

Bowman is assisting the Middlesex Water Authority with developing a regional water system in lower Middlesex County. Bowman currently holds an Annual Engineering Agreement for civil, water/wastewater and surveying services with the Nelson County Service Authority.

Bowman is assisting the Middlesex Water Authority with developing a regional water system in lower Middlesex County. Bowman has completed this evaluation, developed and obtained approval of the Preliminary Engineering Report and has begun design to follow Hampton Roads Planning District Commission specifications. The scope involves the installation of approximately 42 miles of water distribu-tion piping sized from 12” down to 2″.
