Greater Burlington YMCA

Bowman provided permitting support services, urban design and construction drawings for the entire site of the Greater Burlington Vermont YMCA with a focus on aesthetics and ADA accessibility. Scope includes entry plaza, outdoor seating, bicycle parking, granite retaining walls, fencing, stairways, site landscape, lighting, and specialty detailing work.

Bowman provided complete site design, landscape architecture, professional consulting, Act 250 permitting and support services for a five-story mixed-use multifamily development. The project includes 69 studio apartments and ground floor commercial space.

SunCommon Wetland Restoration

Our team worked with SunCommon Solar to design a wetland restoration and habitat enhancement plan of their 1.5 acre lease area. Madbush Falls

Madbush Falls – Riders’ Outpost was an exciting project involved a complete rehabilitation and transformation of an abandoned old motel and bar known as the Madbush Alpine Chalet in Waitsfield, VT along VT Route 100 a few miles from the Sugarbush Ski Resort.

Costco Permitting & Design

Our team has worked with Costco since its beginnings in Vermont in Colchester in 1992. At the time the site had a different building by the name of Bio-Tech that was razed to build the first and only Costco in Vermont. Since then, we have worked with Costco over the years in adding small additions to the site, such as the tire center.

Planned Unit Development (PUD) Project

This mixed-use space is a large industrial building that is being re-purposed, and will provide maker space, bicycle repair, work from “home” space, storage, and more. Progress on this project has included extending the bike path to encourage non-vehicular traffic.

Twin Farms Resort

The Twin Farms Resort project involved a series of renovations, expansions and new units to the Forbes Travel #1 5-star small luxury hotel and resort in the quaint and quiet town of Barnard, Vermont. Our team was retained to provide surveying, site/civil engineering, permitting, environmental and construction engineering services.
