Bowman has built a nearly 20-year relationship with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) through its work under multiple award task order contract
(MATOC) indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) programs, completing nearly 120 contracts since 2007.
Within 24 hours of a tornado that struck downtown St. Louis in May 2025, Bowman mobilized its disaster mapping team to capture post-event aerial imagery. Using a Cessna Conquest aircraft equipped with a Phase One PANA imaging system, the team captured high-resolution, georeferenced imagery across the affected area.
We provided full mechanical and electrical engineering design or the adaptive reuse of the Shillman Building into a modern, energy efficient Baltimore City District Courthouse. The project featured a complete HVAC system replacement with a variable refrigerant flow (VRF) system and a dedicated outside air system (DOAS).
Our team deployed a dual-sensor setup to gather aerial imagery and LiDAR data in a single flight. The mission combined a Teledyne Optech Galaxy T2000 lidar sensor with a Phase One digital frame camera, producing a 4-inch GSD image set and QL2-grade lidar.
To prepare for a projection mapping show at the New York Public Library, a 3D scan of a historic space was conducted using a Faro S series scanner. Eight high-resolution scans captured 350 million points in under two hours, creating an immersive 3D point cloud. The mesh was refined collaboratively, enabling content development ahead of the event.
Performed surveying and engineering services for this 2.1 acres to support development of a solar panel farm. Scope included detailed topographic survey of the area bounded by the woods line.
Missouri’s Meramec River is one of the largest free-flowing waterways in the state. Our team monitored the flood waters and was able to conduct aerial imagery acquisition to pull together a complete coverage of the flooded area for local communities and disaster recovery officials.
The City of Vancouver, WA is the fourth largest city in the state and largely recognized as an extension of the greater Portland, OR metropolitan area. The city has experienced significant growth in recent years and has taken steps to dramatically redevelop its downtown and waterfront amenities along the northern bank of the Columbia River. […]
With a population of nearly 100,000 people, Bend, OR is the sixth largest city in the state having doubled in size over only a 25-year period. To address the explosive growth being experienced by the community, our team was first engaged in 2013 to develop water, sewer and storm water financial plans and rate strategies […]
